Fan view: My worst Irons game in six decades

He added: It is impossible to believe the players can be behind Moyes as they showed no spirit, effort, or ability (apart from 2 great saves by Areola and some spirited runs by Bowen and Johnson).

I had begged for Moyes to leave when we won the Euro Conference trophy but no such luck. Maybe the graphic pictures of thousands leaving the ground around half time and the threat of falling season ticket sales next year will have a big effect on the board. The only way we can put things right is to show  some  changes with management and training over the rest of the campaign.

What is also very worrying is that presumably Moyes believes the academy system  is a waste of time as he has been reported as saying over recent days that the kids have less and less chance of playing in senior club teams.

That doesn’t seem to be true at other clubs though with several introducing teenagers who become successful.

To be clear MOYES GOODBYE.

After a really bad day yesterday and leaving like thousands after half time I can only think of the words leaderless, gutless, heartless and totally without any plan as a sum up of feelings this morning. If I hear any more pundit excuses for Moyes and his own defence speech of what he has done over the last few years I will go crazy as we don’t hear we nearly went down last year , more thrashings this season than I can remember etc etc …..are we really going to have to see this guy next season, I can only hope reason will be seen at the end of his contract. The only words that I agree with are the players need to also take a hard look at themselves but sadly there is no Noble or Bonds to do that speech!

It took me back to Avram Grant, the feeling of despair in the pit of my stomach, we haven’t just lost, we ARE lost,, no structure, no balance in the team, no Plan B. We know for sure, it’s the start of the second half, Moyes has subbed two defenders, we are still playing just two attacking players plus Ben Johnson, no Max Cornet who Moyes signed in the first place, no transition ability, Moyes sat in his seat looking like a lost schoolboy. It’s official; he doesn’t know what to do, he’s been found out, turned over, capsized. Oh no my lovely Irons, shafted.
