Chiekhou Kouyate will experience the goosebumps with which he has become so familiar when running out at the Boleyn this afternoon – if selected of course!
The midfielder reckons the Irons fans are awesome and he said: “The atmosphere at the Boleyn Ground is wonderful and I get goosebumps when I’m out on the pitch.”
The former Anderlecht defender has been a huge hit despite seeing his campaign interrupted by injury
He said: “Mo Diame told me before I came here that the fans are amazing but I couldn’t have expected them to be how they are.”
Talking to www.whufc.com he added: “”Beating top teams is great for our confidence but we also need to keep our feet on the ground. As a team we haven’t achieved anything yet and there’s still a long way to go. Our aim is to improve on last season.”
