Fans make feelings known on Slav

Slaven Bilic has led the Irons into fourth place in the Premier League.
We have now gone six games undefeated and scored four amazing away victories.
It’s no wonder the fans are head over heels for the man but it’s his words and attitude away from the action which have got them drooling as much as anything else.
Here’s a selection of their comments from the ClaretandHugh facebook forum at https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/
Andy Gilham How can you not Love Slaven Bilic
Rob Robinson Have got to say Mr Bilic is God. He is tactically brilliant and his man management skills are to die for. Here is a guy that has come back to a club he clearly loves and treats the club, players and all the fans with huge respect. He is also a superb ambassador for the club and we are very lucky to have him. And yes it is early days but I for one feel the club is in safe hands.

Russ Avery The man oozes class and its so refreshing to see, proud to be a hammer again, we have our club back!
Iain Howland I want to have his babies.
Richard Oses He really is a breath of fresh air in every aspect. Imagine that, an honest lawyer! wink emoticon great personality, great manager.

Steve Smith Slav’s a class act

  1. He’s brought honour, passion and respect back to our great club. The way the players celebrated with fans yesterday says it all…it comes from a boss who understands and respects us…he’s doesn’t call us deluded on day 1.

  2. I think we need Big Sam back at Upton Park
OK, I can understand a few people don’t but it needs to happen before the season ends and I’m pretty sure most of you agree with me if only for the style of football we are playing.
Only of course so he can see us playing the West Ham way and he’ll get his chance when we play Sunderland at home
    Super Slav’s army WHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

  3. When you look back over the years, the turmoil & the controversy that the club has been through, we deserve every moment of this. Bilic is a revelation, what a breath of fresh air & what a great decision he has become. A born leader. When David Sullivan told Stephen Sackur that he loved the club but it would take three or four years to control the debt, then another couple before we could even think about Europe, he was telling the truth. All that he said is coming true & Bilic is a part of that. I hope he is with us forever.

  4. I think we all knew that this season would be better for us, because Slaven was just so different to his predecessor, in that he knew what made us tick. What I think has caught us all by surprise is how quickly his attitude, his belief in the way things should be done, which is so in tine with what we like to see, has filtered down – to the players, but also to us. The man is such a wonderful breath of fresh air after the stagnation of the last three years. It’s like bathing under a crystal clear waterfall after having to make do with a muddy pond. There will undoubtedly be blips along the way, but I have no doubt he will lead is through them. I can’t remember being this joyful and excited to be an Irons fan…

  5. I totaly agree Hammersfan01. We can all wax lyrical about how good things are now but we must keep our feet on the ground. It is after all a work in progress. Bilic seems a man who get the best from our squad & i am sure that he knows all of that. His presence is flowing through the team & they will give their best under him. I recall the halycon days of the 60’s & there is no reason why i cannot see that again before i pass on. I certainly hope so. We have had some great players in our years & none forgotten. Slaven & this squad does our history justice & these are feel good times in every way, the way we play, our attitude to the game & club spirit. May it long continue.
