Slaven Bilic has reportedly slammed the door on a move for Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho after a deal had been done.

This guy scores goals but does he create goals ! Playing along side the mighty players at man city is a lot different than us ,maybe the likes of Andre gray who have to help create rather than poach would be preferable
He had 8 assists this season in limited game time is in double digits over two seasons. And as they said they want a goal scorer with premier league experience is top of agenda. He he ticked all the boxes 21 goals in 46 apps for a top club can operate as a loan striker and can link up play with his pace and assist.
He was even picked over Aguero for games.
Bilic just seems to not Favour youth anyone under 23 he just doesn’t trust and he isn’t a manager who develops players. Guarantee if a Striker with the same stats but was 26 no veto. And he is proven more in premier by goals and assists. And since Slav we have always played a lone striker.
Luis Muriel who we just made a £23m bid on has 20 assists and 24 goals in 84 apps.He is 26 too
All that together Kelechi is the better player and has done it in premier league and has more years in him. So I think Slav is just scared and wants a Marquee signing but you have to pay High wages for that. Kelechi would have been £50k. Chicharito who I would love to have here £140k and Marquee strikers will demand those wages. Defoe is getting £130k plus 6m sign on for 3 years at Bournemouth.
To me it was a miss good striker hungry to play and could have got someone like Giroud or Babacar who is 24 6’3″ 51 goals in 133 games and 20 odd assists at Forentinia
If Andre Gray is the limit of what we can attract then we are doomed!
Agree rather have Vokes than Gray. And he is a front 2 player. Slav as always operated with a lone striker. Kelechis talent is way beyond Grays. The stats don’t lie. And they are only selling bc Pep has 2 great strikers and is buying a 3rd rather than loan sell with buy back option.
I like Babacar for a pick and they want Marquee striker then they have to spend if bloody Bournemouth can pay those wages we can. We made the most profit than any other club from 2015.2016 season. We have money

Players go to Turkey bc they are forced to like we are doing to Feghouli which is Daft and given him away for free. Or bc they can make it in the bigger leagues. Bilics ties to Bestikas hamper us. Bundesliga is a much better shopping ground

Happy about Lanzini although I now 70k was offered didn’t know it was signed yet but he will stay he is loved here and we should be getting players to build around him. Happy about Obiang too even tho Bilic wanted to well him last summer. I just want what we were promised after the move and want a board and manager who get on. Bc I want to keep our players. But we need more to make a top 10 challenge and to even not get dragged into relegation.
We don’t know exactly why Slaven Bilic has rejected the transfer of Kelechi from Man City……. but what I do know is that Bilic is a better judge of a player than I am! I trust that he knows what he’s doing, so let’s get behind Bilic and the team for the forthcoming season.
