Fans send their message to the board

West Ham’s owners are quickly coming under the cosh as results go from bad to worse!

On the basis that the buck stops at the top here’s what the fans have to say.

  • If you shop in Poundland what do you expect?  It is not all Pellegrini’s fault. A net spend of £25 million in the summer when realistically you need to spend £75 – £100 million just to stand still. I feel  the owners have taken us as far as they can and should  sell  at a realistic price. Also please please can we say goodbye to Karen Brady, she is an embarrassment with her column in the Sun newspaper could you see this sort of thing happening when Ron Greenwood or John Lyle were at the club. She is an Arsenal fan which is fair enough but has no attachment to West Ham
  • The continuing procrastination just takes us another day closer to relegation. You are a money driven man Mr Sullivan, pull the trigger before we pass the point of no return and potentially become the next Sunderland or Coventry City.
  • When u think we got rid of Slav quick enough when things were going wrong, look at him now. Bring back Moyes.
  • We’ve seen this before with the owners. Slav looked like condemned man for weeks before he went as the side went from worse to worse. Great to see, by the way, his revival at a properly run club. Pelle is on paper by far the most successful manager ever to come to West Ham (49.9% wins). He has not suddenly become a rubbish manager. But he looks a spent force…Something ain’t right at West Ham.
  • I get the feeling that the anger and fervour this time around isn’t as present as say when the Burnley debacle occurred … to me it’s as if more fans are reacting like a punch drunk boxer we’ve suffered a few blows too many to care.

  1. does anyone know what is going on with wiltshire?

  2. It’s Lyall not Lyle!!!

  3. Do you know what’s particularly galling in all this?
Apart from City, Liverpool & Leicester, everyone else is there for the taking for a half decent side this season.
And instead of vying for 5th or 6th maybe, we are swimming against a tide that is becoming stronger every game.

  4. Oh jeez I was there, Having a great time and then even better we were winning, thats when the **** hit the fan!
Why not go straight down middle, no one was taking a chance for themselves!!!
It’s always the same let’s take a rest and rely on our 1 goal lead.

  5. Why don’t thay sell the club to someone who wants to take the club forward noble has said that Pellegrini has lost the dressing room get rid no brainer

    • Don’t recall Noble ever saying that “ Pelligrini has lost the dressing room “ ,,, maybe that’s just your interpretation of events !!, JM . He ( Noble) did though say and show some disconcernation as to the way things are going . It seems to me that Noble wouldn’t be unhappy to see Pelligrini gone .

  6. Since Pellegrini came I have been trying to identify our style, which has always seems a mash of anything and nothing, but I think I have finally nailed it.

Our style under Pellegrini is: INDIRECT

We like to build up slowly, break slowly, turn back when we can, pass sideways, and only if all else fails put the ball into the box.

No good just blaming the defence, we played the worst Arsenal team of ALL TIME, and with any intensity or passion, should have been out of sight by the time they scored. In the interest of balance where we don’t like to attack the fans favourites; Snodgrass, Noble and Anderson were shocking again.

  7. First and foremost Mr Sullivan championed getting Pellegrini over every other candidate on his past achievements alone ? So it’s up to Mr Sullivan to swallow pride admit that a Manager of Pellegrini’s stance was with a massive spending club, which not is what West Ham are about?? So do the right thing and get a manager that just might want a step up to a mid table team to achieve a higher achievement for him personally as a manager , and for him to form a squad to step up to the job, and go forward for a better squad and get success for both club and manager.

  8. Got to go now why wait , I have had enough and I will admit I was one who backed MP but results/ performances have changed that .

  9. For me it’s a no brainer to get Moyes back on-side and give him the decent run he was deserved but denied . Eddie Howe is not the answer , Bournemouth are no better off and are in the same mess as us . A lot of years at Bournemouth with nothing to show is not exactly what we need . Instead of paying for more bad 12 to 15 million £ players the money could be better spent on paying Pelligrini his taxi . If the right offer was presented to Moyes without insulting him I think he would welcome the chance to prove people wrong and get us cranked up again . ( we of course don’t want to presume the mindset of Moyes ) IT WAS A MASSIVE MISTAKE TO HAVE NOT EXTENDED HIS CONTRACT WHEN THINGS WERE LOOKING UP . Pelligrini doesn’t know how to get this team performing and it is now far beyond obvious
That he should leave now , even before the potential loss to Southampton is a reality .
After such a promising start and rising to a possible third position in the table with a look of at least some dreams coming true we are now at the opposite and the dreams have died a miserable death . We even failed to field teams to get us a run in the domestic cups . We were thougherly embarrassing and without the will to progress . It was an evil thing to do to us Fans that were expecting so much more after so many promises ., which turned out to be blatant lies on behalf of Pelligrini . We don’t need him nor want to watch any more rubbish and pathetic performances . GOODBYE , I hope .

  10. Finding it a bit difficult to blame the owners who obviously thought they were onto a winner and for a short spell it looked as though they were right . But having said that they are failing to react positively with Regards to ousting The Chilean . He is long Past his sell bye date .
I appreciate that it is a financial conundrum but , they are the owners that need to find a solution and quickly .

    • I agree, Kevin, this hatred of the owners is something i can’t get my head around. They hired a manager who, on paper at least, was potentially the best we’ve ever had. Paid him a lot of money. Moved us to a bigger stadium. Do a huge amount of work in the local area, helping the lives of many people. OK, we all loved Upton Park but football is about money, unfortunately, and so it was a move that had to happen, if we wanted to be a Premier League team consistently. My Grandad played at Upton Park so i know the connections we all had but times change. Does anyone still live in the house they were born in? Likely not.

Anyway, i imagine the reason for not getting Pellegrini out is to do with finances. But how much would we lose if we finished 10 places lower in the table due to inaction now?

I feel for the board, they’re fans too, i’m sure.

  11. Kevin I don’t always agree with your coments but to be fair your coments posted at 12.51 are spot on IMHO and maybe many others I surmise.and if the Dave’s have the boll..ks and the £ to get MP out many would respect them for that ..it’s plain to see we ain’t going anywhere with him..I also think Moyes was treated very harshly and to.be honest if DG+DS when knock to his door he should tell them to do one..IMHO but it don’t help.our situation one iota
