Far too handy Antonio takes the Mickey

|

Michail Antonio isn’t the sort of bloke to let life get him down even when seeing two goals down the ‘swanee’ for entirely unintended  handball.

The club’s No 1 star right now has seen goals against Chelsea and Southampton ruled out by VAR after the ball brushed his arms and palm and initially claimed the best way forward maybe was to cut them off!

Instead, though, he settled for posting an amusing picture of himself  on Instagram  with with a pair of giant hands accompanied with a caption explaining the decisions were killing him.

But possibly the most determined player on the Hammers books makes sure a smile isn’t a million miles away even in times of misfortune  and demonstrated a great line in self mockery.

Laws on goal scoring situations, even the slightest instance of handball will lead to it being chalked off under the newly instituted regulations and Mikey could not have paid a harsher price.

This new interpretation of the Handball Rule, where any contact of the hand or arm with the ball is deemed as Handball is ruining the game, just like VAR! 😡
