FCSB – A simple win?

West Ham take on FCSB on Thursday in their final Europa Conference League game.

It is not a fixture of great consequence; we know the Hammers will win Group B and we know FCSB will finish bottom. Those places have been decided.

As a result, one has to think that boss David Moyes will rotate heavily and we could see a few Academy kids step up to the plate.

But what kind of form are FCSB in, and are they better than being bottom?

Well, not really.

While they are one of the most successful clubs in Romanian history, they are currently seventh in the league table, and have already lost four games this season.

In their last five games, they have won just two, and have conceded seven goals.

They really aren’t in a great place ahead of their game against the Irons and they are playing purely for pride.

This should be a stroll in the park for the Irons.

Should be Dave… but you’ve supported the Irons long enough to know we don’t do stroll’s in the park, we get stung by the nettles lol.
