Feghouli weighs up Galatasaray option

west_hams_sofiane_feghouli_celebrates_scoring_their_third_goal_317515A new report claims Galatasaray have reached an agreement with the Hammers over the transfer of Sofiane Feghouli according to beIN Sport Turkey.

The Turkish team are said to have struck a €4.5 million (£4m) deal with the Hammers for their player but the Istanbul outfit are said to yet agree personal terms with the Algerian winger.

Galatasaray sporting director Cenk Ergun is currently in London where he has reportedly had contact with West Ham. The 27-year-old joined West Ham from Valencia last summer on a free transfer but had a mixed season. Feghouli scored four goals and provided three assists in all competitions last season.

The Istanbul giants will compete in the Europa League this season after missing out on Champions League football after they finished fourth.

Feghouli previously said he wanted to stay at West Ham telling RMC Sport “I have two years of contract in West Ham and as I announced on the social networks, I see myself staying in West Ham, and I’m back on July 10th with the team. I will go on a quiet holiday and prepare for a great season. I am open to any discussion with the coach but there is not a problem I do not think I’ll go back as normal, but maybe the owner will tell me one day that I’ll have to leave, even if I do not think so. West Ham is an adventure to live in. I’m not the kind of person who wants to leave after a mixed season”

In a C&H poll in late May over 72% of supporters believed Sofiane Feghouli should remain a Hammer after the summer transfer window.

  1. Is this a joke..4mil

  2. Can you trust anything beIN says,i mean they employ furry paws Keys dont they 😀

  3. Roma where willing to pay £10-£12m in Jan window. And £4m is nothing he is worth more than that to us and period. He is a good squad player that we will just have to replace with a great attitude and starting showing his skills when hot a run of games scored 4 goals only 4 players scored more and 3 assists in 11 starts.
If we got another winger who could play left and could get £15m diff.
Slav even told him he was in his plans and wanted him to stay.
This club is driving me mad since the move

  4. No the papers and media sources said Roma were willing to pay that so believe them if you want.

  5. Like Jr’s said he is a decent squad player

    • I hope decent squad players can come from our U23s. Players we buy must be decent first teamers. Perhaps Bilic is not happy that didn’t happen with Feghouli.
At least he shows a ruthless streak when searching for real quality.
      Nordveit
      Valencia
      Feghouli
      Snodgrass?

  6. Odd one this. I don’t think we should sell him as I think he has a good season to come. And certainly not for as little as £4M. I reckon this is fake news.

  7. If that is true it is saying that a full international is worth less than a youth team player to our club, sell Snodgrass not Feghouli anyway to put it in perspective that paper reports lots of false articles hopefully this is another.

  8. And we are looking at Muller now for a Right Winger at £9m why sell Feghouli to buy someone older and more expensive and would just have to settle in all over while Feghouli is settled now. 11 starts 4 goals 3 assists. No reason to sell him and he loves it here.
