Ferdinand plunges knife into his Irons roots – AGAIN

He’s an easy target of course and maybe it’s not worth the trouble of giving him a mouthful.

But seeing as Rio Ferdinand has spent much of his time recently putting a knife into the Hammers it’s a hard one to resist.

His latest little outburst in which he says Newcastle should make a move for Rice’s direction comes almost immediately after he involved himself in the hapless PAI Capital nonsense.

And it follows previous declarations that he’s also onside with a move from to Manchester United for the Hammers skipper .

Talk about betraying your roots although let’s never forget that he has admitted to being worse the wear for booze when playing for the Irons.

It seems he is a little desperate for as much attention as possible – either positive or negative.

It’s called narcissism – something from which a certain Donald Trump suffered.

They both appear to have one track minds when they are opposed to something which in reality means that Rio’s opinions are objectional but worthless.

Word of warning Rio: You may have been a decent defender but it doesn’t follow that makes you a decent pundit.

Like many players before you, running a pub maybe a more suitable cup of rosy.
