Edimilson Fernandes made his Switzerland debut last night (Sun) as his country defeated the Faroe Islands 2-0 in their FIFA World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
Fernandes, 20, came on as a 69th minute sub replacing Valentin Stocker , as Vladimir Petkovic’s side continued their perfect start to the qualification process.
Eren Derdiyok and Stephan Lichtsteiner scored the goals to round off matchday four in European World Cup qualification.
