Don’t understand why people rate Sam Johnson so highly, he is a poor keeper with poor positional sense and poor distribution. Would also stop the progress of Trott, Anang and Jinadu. I’d rather we use our young keepers than a failed keeper.
Of all the names mentioned, Adam Hlozek has to be the one we get in, can cover a number of positions, has resale value and great potential to be class.
Striker wise, Patson Daka is a good call if we can get price down. Wouldn’t mind Benteke on a free as cover.
I would also like us to field a lot of our younger players in the europa league this year, would be great experience and exposure for them and we might find a gem or two in the process, players like Odubeko, Baptiste, Diallo, Johnson, Trott might just shine and show their worth
