Dinos Mavropanos for Greece

Nine Hammers will be involved for their nations during games in the much dreaded international  break – the second within eight games of the season starting and another to come before Christmas.

It is always a case of fingers very much crossed against injury of course beyond their being no Premier League action.

Jarrod Bowen gets his well deserved call up to the England squad and seems to have a realistic chance of making an appearance in the friendly against Australia on Friday..

He may also get the chance of an appearance in the match against Italy at Wembley in a 2024 UEFA European Championship Group C qualification match next Tuesday .

Elsewhere, Vladimír Coufal and Tomáš Souček face UEFA Euro qualifying action across the international break travelling to Albania for a Group E game on Thursday 12 October, and entertaining the Faroe Islands in Plzeň for another group stage match on Sunday 15 October.

Greece international Konstantinos Mavropanos will be hoping to play a part against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Friday 13 October before welcoming the Netherlands to Athens on Tuesday 17 October.

Also in Group B is Alphonse Areola and France who travel to Amsterdam for a  qualifier on Friday and end the international break with a friendly fixture at home to Scotland on Tuesday 17 October.

Callum Marshall could also be involved with Northern Ireland in October’s qualifiers, having earned his first international cap in June.

Edson Álvarez and Mohammed Kudus will clash  in an international in the United States, when Mexico and Ghana play each other at the Bank Of America Stadium in North Carolina in the early hours of Sunday 15 October.

The two will then also be in action early on Wednesday 18 October as Álvarez and Mexico take on Germany, while Kudus and Ghana play the United States.

Nayef Aguerd will be back with the Morocco side this October too. The defender and his teammates play the Ivory Coast in a friendly fixture on Saturday 14 October before returning to Africa Cup Of Nations qualification action, when they play Liberia on Tuesday 17 October.
