Fletcher linked with a move to Leeds

fletcher-726-july-12Leeds are reportedly weighing up a January loan move for Hammer Ashley Fletcher.

The 21 year old signed for West Ham in the summer after his contract expired at Manchester United
But since making his Premier League debut for the Hammers as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth he has played just 151 minutes of first-team football in six appearances including a six minute substitute appearance on Saturday.

Leeds had been tracking young Fletch before he decided to join West Ham and a new report in the Sun claims his situation has alerted Garry Monk’s Leeds, who are keen to secure a loan deal for Fletcher in the winter window as they are struggling with a lack of striking options.

  1. If he isn’t going to be picked get him some experience, too me he looks like he should be getting a lot more playing time because he can score or create chances. Hopefully he will get his chance with us but it looks unlikely so far.

  2. Only with an option to bring back if needed

  3. SouNds spot on No32, let him go and develop at a Championsgip side in January. Only then will we truly know how good a player we have. As Slaven said elsewhere, we all hope he will become the new Rashford but ManU kept one and let the other go! Fingers crossed here for Fletcher that he proves them wrong.

  4. “Leeds are struggling with a lack of striking options” and us?
