Fofana back on radar

|

Well, how about that – it now appears that West Ham are still in the hunt for the Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.

It had appeared that he was a slam dunk to go to Nottingham Forest but has now changed his mind and the Irons are back in the hunt for the 24 year old French International.

He will be available for about “£22m and is on relatively (for the premier league) low wages.

An exciting central midfielder, he is strong in the tackle and is capable of great link up play.

This could be great business for the Irons ,as can you imagine a midfield with our new boy Alvarez and Fofana?

Far better than the lumbering Maguire methinks.

Well if the rumours are true about Paqueta at some point he is going to City, we still haven’t signed Alvarez…

At what time do you jettison Moyes and get in a new manager, we will have the funds to buy a new team, Cresswell could go, Scamacca, Vlasic, Antonio and Rice could go as well as Paqueta there is no stability there, other players not willing to sign new contracts and players reportedly not wanting to join and most of the leaders will be gone so it doesn’t really matter who is in charge there is an earthquake inside the club, one way to change that and take advantage of it is to change managers and hope that they get a bounce.

For 22 that’s a bargin and the type of age profile and price we should be aiming at, how about Scotty from Bristol??

Yes Simon spot on he would be great with Alvarez and Paqueta. I fear Moyes will go for Maguire and hesitate on young Fofana though
