Forgotten Hammer passes sixty minute test

Forgotten Hammer Andriy Yarmolenko has taken a step closer to a return to first team selection after playing a behind doors games against Spurs earlier this week. David Moyes told reporters earlier today at Rush Green that the Ukraine midfielder played an hour of a practise game but was  still feeling this thigh after the game and he has yet to rejoin first team training.

The manager also revealed that Jack Wilshere has started some training work on the grass after his operation adding they are both getting a bit closer to match fitness but still a little bit away.

Ryan Fredericks has had successful surgery on his shoulder injury earlier this week and is expected to return to action in around six weeks time. Tomas Soucek suffered a low grade injury last night and is likely to be out for approximately three weeks the club confirmed earlier this week.

  1. Who forgot him

  2. Moyes needs to concentrate on getting the best from those fit players in the squad. Not sure if that should include Anderson who looked short on Monday. I would prefer to try Bowen on the left, Antonio on the right with Haller down the middle.
