Former Hammer appointed manager of Bengal Tigers

TeddyIndian team Atletico de Kolkata who are known as the Bengal Tigers have announced that it has appointed former West Ham Striker and shooting coach Teddy Sheringham as its head coach for the forthcoming season.

Mr. Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman of the RP- Sanjiv Goenka Group and the team’s principal owner said “I am glad to welcome our new Coach Teddy Sheringham to ATK (Altetico de Kolkata) family and strongly believe that it is going to be an enriching experience for him and the boys. Our endeavour to retain expertise and map out a compact team structure has been enhanced with Sheringham joining the team this season. One of the top goal scorers and an exceptional player himself I am hopeful Teddy will bring his fine planning skills to lead the way for ATK.”

Sheringham is looking forward to kick start his managerial after he was sacked by Stevenage in 2016. I am excited to be joining ATK and can’t wait to get started . Mr Sanjiv Goenka has told me about the Indian Super League and it seems like a great place to follow your football dreams and ambitions.”
