Former Hammer is out prove injury is not a problem

CollisonFormer Hammer Jack Collison appears to be moving closer to a permanent deal with QPR to join Rio Ferninand after he played all 90 minutes of their 0-0 draw at Southend last night. Collison was released by the Hammers over the summer at the end of his contract after being sidelined by a persistent knee injury he picked up in 2009 against Wigan away.

He has been on trial at QPR and toured with them in Germany as part of a pre season friendly campaign. He is keen to impress Harry Redknapp to continue his footballing career despite the injuries which have plagued him at West Ham.
