Former Hammer knock Kudus arrival

seemingly crazy claim from a former Hammer has been made over the reasons why the Irons bought Mohamed Kudus from Ajax.

John Paintsil, who has been speaking to Ghanaian outlet Graphic claims the move was made because they want to make a big profit of the £38 million purchase further down the line.

Paintsil clearly has little knowledge of what has been happening at the club since it brought in Tim Steidten ro work with David Moyes as following the sale of Declan Rice there has been that £105 million and more to spend.

And it seems to be a very short sighted view as we hit the top mdour and prepare for the Europa League games over the next months.

Pastil claimed however, that the Hammers were not a club who signed players such as Kudus whose departure has been deeply bemoaned by Ajax following the 23 year old’s departure to London and appearance on the bench at Luton Town.

He said: ““He is a young player, that’s why they signed him for five years. West Ham don’t sign players like that.“Before, they will give you that number of years, it means they’ve seen something in you, and they know that in two or three years’ time, they can market him and make more money.”
