Former Hammer linked with West Ham take over

Former Hammer Jack Collison has been linked to a return to West Ham to take over the vacant position as the manager of West Ham Women run by Chairman’s son Jack Sullivan.

Last month West Ham United Women parted company with manager Matt Beard ‘by mutual consent’ following a difficult start to the 2020/21 Women’s Super League season.  His last game in charge was a 4-0 win over Charlton in the Continental Cup on Wednesday night, but the Hammers have been victorious in just one of their opening seven WSL games and are failing to improve on last season when they finished eighth in the final standings.

Goalkeeping coach Billy Stewart and first-team coach Paul McHugh took temporary charge of the team until a permanent replacement is found.

The West Ham women lost to Chelsea Women 3-2 at the beginning of December but won 4-0 this afternoon against bottom of the table Bristol City at Twerton Park.

Jack Collison is the U17 coach Atlanta United FC in the state of Georgia in the US but ITK EXWHUemployee has claimed he is the front runner to take over thee West Ham Women’s manager job.

  1. Jack Collison has found his niche in Georgia. Wish him all success there. He’s had his time at West Ham and moved on. Would be a major error to return in any capacity. We are now looking ahead and not behind. Think the ladies side could do with somebody professional at their head rather than the foul mouthed throw backs who appeared on TV with Jack Sullivan. Mr Sullivan, surround yourself with honest, respectful employees and dispense with the hangers-on.

  2. Really quite disappointed that C and H would resort to cheap clickbait type headlines more suitable for the “scammy” sites out there ! You don’t need to do this !

    • It’s not clickbait – it’ accurate. Just didn’t fit what was in your mind. Nothing wrong with clickbait now and again anyway. You get everything for free HKH. I’m sure you can handle a bit of fun
