Former Hammer says It will be David Moyes

|

TonyGale_3167231Former Hammer Tony Gale has told Sky Sports “It will be David Moyes, It’s going be David Moyes that is going in so everyone has got to get onside with David and the team David brings alongside him as well and get behind the club and get these results they need now. I suggest it won’t be the same style of football that Slaven was trying to play. Obviously, he has a few scars at the moment, David, I know David and everyone in the game says he is a good manager and a good coach as well particularly at Everton. The Manchester job was a really tough job to take on, then Sunderland and the little Spanish thing in-between. But Sunderland was a job with hindsight he shouldn’t have took on. Let’s think about David Moyes in his Everton days and David Moyes was a good manager. He was a good manager then and it does not stop you from being one now”

I personally think Moyes will do a good job. We are currently the least fit side in the PL and he will correct that. At Everton he brought through a large number of kids into his first team – something most of us have been begging Bilic to do for 2 years. Everton were seldom out of the top 8 in his eleven years there. So if he is the choice of the owners lets all give him a chance and get behind him and the team. If we don’t we will be playing Championship football next season.

Spot on from Gale in regards to Sunderland, Moyes shouldn’t have taken that job as it was always going to tarnish a decent managerial record. Sunderland were being relegated for several seasons in a row only to perform completes miracles to scrape to survival. The difference with Moyes reign there is that he inherited probably the worst Sunderland team of all with no transfer window to change their fortunes. Anyone remember the Darren Gibson drunken rant about some of his teammates and their lack of effort waste of space type performances? On top of that, look at them now, going down again. They are a complete joke of a club and no manager can change that.
Other than that the Sociedad thing really can not be properly judged as it is totally different there. Ask the expert pundit Gary Neville!
Moyes had a great spell at Everton and had a 52% win rate at Man Utd, no failure there.
Give the guy a chance ffs. Typical West Ham fans at the mo and we are all guilty of it at times, all negative.
Whoever comes in needs more from the fans and to get behind them and the team.
Once thing I have noticed about the LS is how quiet we are these days. Too right we have been served up some utter rubbish but for all the complaining about Bilic and the board there isn’t a hint of that in the ground. There would have been fan protests at other clubs if they were as annoyed as some of our fans but ours just seem to sit in silence. Remember when DG said he would walk away the day it became clear that he and DS weren’t wanted at the club….

Just need to get behind him in that case.Love the idea of Psycho coming in as coach(or is it just hearsay)Also looks like Alan Irvine as his no 2.Certainly training will become a lot more intense. Its ok throwing names around as a replacement but in reality we are 11 games in to the season with not many free agents about.Who knows maybe its just what Moyes needs too.Never got any backing at Sunderland and this is a great opportunity for somebody.
