Former Hammer signs for Peterborough

|

GeorgeFormer Hammer George Moncur has signed on loan at Peterborough United from Barnsley.

The 22-year-old midfielder heads to the ABAX Stadium until 7th January 2017.

The former West Ham United academy graduate has made just a handful of appearances for Barnsley since joining from Colchester United, and has been an unused substitute in their last four league games. The loan move gives George an opportunity to get some first team game time and continue his development says Barnsley’s website.

Moncur scored 14 goals in 51 games for Colchester last term, but could not help them avoid League One relegation.
