There are those who believe some fans made too much out of the hugging and embracing which went on between Lucas Paqueta and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on Saturday afternoon.
Former Irons boss Alan Pardew though is certainly not among them!

The pair were enfolded in each other’s arms before and after the game and it would be bizarre to suggest any other reason than the Spaniard’s desire to buy the Brazilian as soon as possible.
He came in for him before the midfielder was caught up in the Football Association probe into betting irregularities which have surrounded Brazilian football.
As we reported yesterday the probe is now being conducted and whether charges will be brought depend on the findings.
Pardew however has made his feelings clear on the two being too close for comfort at the London Stadium!
