Former West Ham flop Alou Diarra is being in talks with French Ligue 2 outfit Sochaux
Local French newspaper L’Est Republicain suggests that the former Iron is set to sign a deal with the club from whom we bought our other disaster – Modibo Maiga.
Diarra is understood to have been unable to to reach agreements with other French sides recently, including Nancy and Bordeaux.
Sochaux were relegated from the French top flight last season, having finished 18th in the table and missing out on safety by two points.
