Fornals injury update

Pablo Fornals is expected to be available for the match against Arsenal this weekend.

The Spanish midfielder took a knock during the game against Leeds and couldn’t recover in time for the game at Old Trafford on Sunday.

But we understand the 25 year old is ‘mending’ well and should be able to take his place in the squad against the Gooners.

However, he will be carefully monitored over the next few days and a decision taken on his involvement closer to the weekend.

We understand too that both Darren Randolph, Andriy Yarmolenko  and Angelo Ogbonna are expected to return after the international break although both are a little way behind Arthur Masuaku.

The DC Congo international has declared on Instagram that he is very close and looks set to become part of the squad for the match against Wolves on April 3.

Oggy is thought to be a couple of weeks behind him.
