Cheik Kouyate, Winston Reid, Arthur Masuaku and Diafra Sakho could all in doubt today after suffering knocks against Everton with Slaven Bilic admitting some of these players missed training this week. All will face late fitness tests for Stoke today.
Writing in his match day column on WHUFC.com Bilic penned: “Some of the boys had knocks from the Everton game – Cheikhou Kouyate, Winston Reid, Arthur Masuaku and Diafra Sakho – and some players missed some training this week, but we’re going to see how they are and choose the team and the system from there.”
Yesterday Slav confirmed in his London Evening Standard Column “Arthur Masuaku, who unfortunately picked up a knock, could be doubtful.”
With Andy Carroll, Pedro Obiang, Angelo Ogbonna and Michail Antonio already out Bilic has a real selection challenge.
This is a farce, I really do wonder how we are managing our players and their physical fitness and toughness;I have never come across a more continuously crocked team as this one
SOUNDS LIKE BILIC IS EASING THE WAY IN FOR NOBLE !! HE SHOULD SHOW BALLS AND GIVE NOBLE THE ELBOW … PERMANENTLY . IF NOT WE ARE DOOMED COYI
