Four reasons for Jarrod putting pen to paper

Pa in law Mr Danny Dyer

David Sullivan’s move in having a one on one meeting with Jarrod Bowen with the players  representatives not present was clever and played a major part in the player’s decision to stay at West Ham,

That happened last Tuesday and Jarrod allowing it is significant as it tells me that despite the power agents appear to have, the players will always make their own minds up.

For those unaware of the scenario, Jarrod left the meeting with the chief shareholder explaining that he would thing things over and let him know.

His love of West Ham had become more than apparent, he has two tiny twins set to grow up over the next seven years, a partner who may well want to stay where she is and a manic Irons fan as is father – a certain Danny Dyer.

Now I’m sure the No 20 didn’t ask pa in law cos he knew the answer he would get but all those reasons put together obviously played a part.

But centrally that he loves West Ham and wants to be part of such an exciting project is the essential decision behind his decision clearly.

He and the hammers are becoming elite and showing at last that fortune is no longer hiding!
