Fredericks scan result

West Ham’s sole injury concern has turned out to be not so worrying.

Ryan Fredericks came off after 15 minutes of the match at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening with what at first was thought to be a groin injury.

But in fact the problem was with his thigh and following a scan it has become clear that the injury is low grade and will only keep him out for 10 days.

That means should he be required he will be back in action for the game against Everton at Goodison Park after an international break.

Sadly, he may have been needed today with Vladi Coufal having been worried by a groin problem after sustaining an injury after a challenge by Matic at Old Trafford.

However, the VCzech defender  is thought to be ready to take his place in the squad with Ben Johnson likely cover should there be an issue with the right back.
