Friends plan memorial to remember Hammers fan

Hammers fan Robert Landy passed away after a long battle with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Robert will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A group of his friends are fundraising to buy a memorial bench for the garden in Bonnington Square where Rob lived and grew up and would be grateful for any donations you would like to make, their aim is to raise £2,000 with any excess funds going to his family.

He was a massive West Ham and England football fan.

The fund has so far raised £1,715 from 66 donors just £285 short of their target for a permanent memorial.
