Frustrated DG talks AC

|

AndyCarrollWestHam_2821401David Gold has expressed his frustration at the ongoing Andy Carroll injury saga.

And he has admitted that the medical staff are unprepared to take a single risk with a man who spends more time off the pitch than on it.

Diafra Sakho has won the race to return to action long before AC despite having had a more complicated injury and no pre-season.

And Gold has admitted that the medical staff need to be ” absolutely certain” he’s 100 per cent.

Frustrated fan Percy Parry tweeted Gold directly on the issue and with more than a touch of sarcasm said: ” DG U keep saying will be back after the international break. Please clarify which one.Qatar 2022?

Gold responded by declaring: “I know it’s frustrating Percy but the physios want to be absolutely sure he’s 100% dg.”

The latest update is that the striker could be back within the next two weeks but nobody is giving guarantees.
