Fulham slap crazy fee on Hammers target

|

Silly Fulham have slapped a crazy £90 million fee on the shoulders Joao Palhinha in a bid to dissuade potential suitors including soon to be cash rich West Ham via a Declan Rice sale.

This of course is what happens when other clubs become aware that one such as ours has loads of dosh – the price just goes crazy on anyone we might want.

Fulham will demand £90million from clubs interested in signing midfielder Joao Palhinha. Silly Fulham have slapped a crazy £90 million fee on the shoulders Joao Palhinha in a bid to dissuade potential suitors including soon to be cash rich West Ham via a Declan Rice sale.

Crazy fee: Fulham have demanded £90m for midfielder Jaoa Palhinha citing Declan Rice’s £100m valuation as a barometer.

It would seem that the Cottagers are using the £100m asking price for Declan Rice as a benchmark given we are allegedly keen on their Palhinha.

West Ham learn Palhinha will cost £90m

The guy is three years older than Declan and certainly not considered to be anywhere near the same level in quality – but Fulham have him tied down until 2027 putting then in a strong position.

The Hammers won’t go anywhere near such a figure  but could think in terms of £40-45 million. Palhinha has impressed since joining Fulham for £20m from Sporting Lisbon last summer.
Palhinha is contracted to the club until 2027, Fulham feel they are in a strong position to hold onto one of their prized assets.
It is also worth noting that West Ham are not the only club in the player.
