Gallagher for West Ham: The truth

|

Fresh rumours that Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher could be on his way to West Ham are entirely false.

Various media sites have been running stories that there remains interest in the Chelsea midfielder despite earlier statements from both clubs that he will be staying at Stamford Bridge.

However, such has been the number of stories suggesting that a deal could be on Claret and Hugh again checked with its key source inside the London Stadium.

And we were told that whilst there has been serious interest in the player the position remains exactly the same as previously – that he wants to take his chances under new Blues boss Mauricio Pochetinno.

Our source said: ” He has declined to join us in the past and nothing has changed. He is set to remain at Chelsea!”

He, in fact, got his first chance in the opening game of the season this afternoon remaining on the pitch for 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
