New Signings | Shirt Numbers Revealed

First off, I am excited to see Andy Irving has a Squad Number. Admittedly this doesn’t guarantee him a starting place but the guy didn’t even have that last year: I’m kind of hoping he worms his way into the starting eleven simply so I can write about his rise from unknown signing to first team starter under Lopetegui.

Here are the others:

Now I’m not getting into the club politics about boycotts, buy the shirt, don’t buy the shirt: That’s up to you guys to make your own decisions but please don’t hit me with an avalanche of comments. It is always exciting – especially if you still remember being an 11 year old excited fan watching new signings and waiting for your own hero’s shirt with his name on the back: For that reason I though I’d get them up on here ASAP.

Plus of course there are still new players to to arrive.

Aren’t we lucky hammers!

Remember the club footnote: Supporters should bear in mind that, until the official squad list for the 2024/25 season is announced on official Club channels, men’s first-team squad numbers remain subject to change. The Club does not advise squad personalisation on shirts while the transfer window is still open

Like everyone else, lifelong WHU fan and season ticket holder in old BMU stand at Upton Park from 2003. Billy Bonds these days with my adult son and impatiently waiting for my Grandson to be old enough to initiate him before his mum grabs him for Man U. All opinions are my own very biased ones.

Irving will need to hit the ground running as a 70th minute sub when were winning 2-0, then bang in a couple of goals to win himself a start. Can’t see where he’ll fit in our midfield when up against the many internationals in our squad.
