Gold and Sullivan on a revenge mission

|

David Gold and David Sullivan will be looking for  revenge when they visit Kidderminster on Saturday.

For it was back in 2004 as joint owners of Birmingham City that they drew the non leaguers in teh FA Cup and were beaten at St Andrews  2-1.

It was a biter day for them and the club they had owned since 1993 and they were to leave three years later – now here they are  17 tears on looking to see them off.

The match goes ahead at 12.30pm on Saturday in the 6,400 capacity Aggborough Stadiun with just over 3,000 of those seated.

The National League team are currently sitting in third place in the National League northern division after beating Leamington 3-0 last night.

It will be fascinating to see what sort of team the Hammers put out for a match which finds its way onto BBC as a classic banana skin game.

I reckon Said Benrahma after his early return from Afcon following Algeria’s departure from the competition will be involved in a team which we hope includes two or three youngsters.

Would have thought Sullivan & Brady had already done the damage at Birmingham?

Moves needs to give some fringe players and youngsters a chance in this game. I would go with this

    Areola

    Ashby, Diop, Alese, Longelo

    Noble, Kral

    Fornals, Lanzini, Ben rahman

Perkins (I wish we kept Odubeko to see what he can give the 1st team as Antonio’s deputy)

Revenge would have been buying Leeds best player after they threw money at Rio Ferdinand all those years ago.
