Gold gunning for Hammers hopeful

cressieDavid Gold fears that if Aaron Cresswell doesn’t get on for the start against Scotland this evening he won’t get on at all.

The co chairman is thrilled our  left back has received his international call up declaring: “No player deserves it more – he has worked so hard and been brilliant for this club since the day he arrived.

“It’s very important that West Ham have England players as it shows the club is progressing – I am seriously hoping that Aaron gets on at the start tonight.

“It is very unusual. In fact it very rarely happens that defenders to come on as subs because they are not seen as game changers.

It may happen in the event of injures but by and large you see offensive players arriving so he needs to be getting into the starting line up.

Every Irons supporter will be hoping he does and comes home uninjured after international duty and I am no different.”
