Gold hits back at “insult”

|

spt_ai_cardiff_whu_09.jpgDavid Gold has hit back hard at a supporter who has lashed out at the club’s medical staff and training facilities.

Forgetting that Dimitri Payet, Victor Moses, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia were all injured in match action, a Gold Twitter follower hit out at both areas of the club’s operation.

The training ground conspiracy theory has regularly been raised and dismssed as a reason for a lengthy injury list but Gold denied it was a problem.

Manuel Lanzini has of course joined the walking wounded as the result of a knock in training which presumably provoked the Twtter outburst.

But the co chairman said:  “There is nothing wrong with our training facilities, we are mid table as far as injuries are concerned.

And when their medical staff were labelled as ‘a joke’ he replied: “I’m sorry but this is an insult to our medical staff who are dedicated, loyal professionals who care passionately.”
