Gold looking for tide to turn

|

West-Ham-United-co-owner-David-GoldDavid Gold is off the Old Trafford believing for the best and singing the praises of Andy Carroll.

The co chairman believes we can add a fifth major club to the scalps of Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea and says he believes that would make us the first club in two decades to do so.

He told the official site: “Sadly my memories of going to Old Trafford over the last few years have not been the best but this is a different side with some outstanding players.”

He added: We have a big boost with Club captain Mark Noble available again after suspension and that gives Slaven some big options to choose from in the midfield.

Alex Song has been back in contention for the last two games and with Pedro Obiang also back to full fitness we have a lot of strength in that area.

We must not forget that we have a player in Andy Carroll who became the Club’s record signing.

His injuries are hopefully behind him and he is strong and injury free. He needs first-team action and I hope we get to see the best of him in the coming weeks and months.

Sadly our club’s record signing has not produced the goods.I don’t see anything changing if he starts tonight. As bubs keeps saying get Oxford on the pitch.Surely Antonio will get picked. If not then something is drastically wrong at the Boleyn.

How does having Noble available give us a “big boost”? As I’ve said before, I like Noble, but with all the other options he is just a squad player with 2 or 3 ahead of him in my opinion.
