And the co chairman has now tweeted confirmation declaring: “Nene is fit and ready to play. It’s possible he could be on the bench against Spurs on Sunday. dg”
Speaking to the official website earlier Nene said:”“It’s a really good challenge for me, to come to a competition like the Premier League. It’s the most competitive in the world so this is the motivation for me.
“The objective is to qualify for Europe. The club wants to do that and I want to help them arrive in that position.”
Now it remains to be seen if the manager is ready to plunge him straight into the action.
