David Gold has told Slaven Bilic’s big pal Darijo Srna he need not bother speculating on our manager’s future.
Srna claimed in an interview published by Sporting Intelligence that West Ham would not be the limit for Biilic adding: “He could manage a Barcelona or a Manchester club without any problem.”
But Gold – in an exclusive interview with ClaretandHugh – declared: “There’s some kite flying going on there because Slaven is already managing one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“And Darijo seems to be forgetting that his pal has landed his dream job and he’s our dream manager. It’s a perfect marriage and we have no intention of getting a divorce.
“We are going onto the Olympic Stadium and that will put West Ham in the top 12 or so of the world’s clubs -Slaven has been key to everything that has been achieved.
“We have a perfect relationship. Slaven asks for what he wants and he gets it – Payet, other players, a new training headquarters. We give him what he wants and he has given us what we want – great football on the pitch.
“I see him as being our manager for a long time to come. Yes there has been talk that he could have enjoyed a purple patch but it’s been a very long one hasn’t it?
“He’s a great manager and a great man who has shown enormous integrity on and off the pitch. And he is the manager of one of the world’s top clubs already.”
We are probably 10 years away from being one of the elite,
Slav could be here all those years and take us into the top 6 teams in the world,

Bubs sees West Ham win the Champions League every night after about 20 Amstels,haha.But his missus prefers him dreaming about football than figas,haha 🙂

Many years ago when Slav started out as a young coach he said that he had ambitions of coming back to us as manager.. job done, he is where he wanted to be. We will become a ‘big’ team so why give up his dream.
