Gold: This has to stop

|

West-Ham-United-co-owner-David-GoldFed-up David Gold has had enough of incorrect refereeing decisions and has called for technology to be introduced NOW.

Taking again about the Mark Clattenburg decision to send off Cheik Kouyate he told ClaretandHugh: “Nobody wants to see this and it is happening to us week after week.

“I have called in the past for a third ref in the box and it has to happen – surely. At the moment the referees have two assistants and in the majority of cases they all seem to be coming to the same conclusion on incidents which I frankly don’t understand.

“Yesterday everybody we spoke to after the game agreed Cheik should not have been send off – surely we can’t all be wrong because several of them were Palace people.

“Cricket has a third umpire and there are only odd occasions when the decision remains unclear after several viewings and if that’s the case in football then we go with the referee. Simple.

“At the moment we are taking about decisions within the game rather than the game itself. Referees must have help – the shouldn’t be made to have to live with decisions that may be wrong f we have the means of proving the issue one way or the other. We’re all human.”

If I was a conspiracy theorist I might say that the bigwigs at the FA are worried that the big six are worried that we could become a power and these are not mistakes at all, I remember when Everton looked like they could shake up the division, decisions started going against them, even Tottenscum in previous seasons have had it similarly, you only have to look at how many penalties we have been awarded to see something is not right. With Payet we have an equaliser to that but without his free kicks how many games would we not have won…

Studs down, toe pointed towards the ball, contact with ball? no follow through with trailing leg. No red card. How many more times will important games be decided by reactionary / biased or just plain mistaken decisions? The game is too important to let one man have the power to decide the outcome of a team’s season. Gayle should be ashamed of himself writhing around as if he had a snake inside him. He soon recovered when he realised the red had been given.

If that were the case then all they have to do is go public with the proposal !
What’s would be stopping them ?
Nothing ! Except maybe that may be looked upon as trouble makers and frozen out !
They are puppets and the FA are the puppeteers !
The old school needs to be closed and a new building erected in its place ,
    Nepatism is rife !

Is it possible that referees are deliberately making consistently poor decisions so the FA take action and give them help (video technology) to make their job easier?

Agree there needs to be change !!
But clattenburk , dean , Atkinson , friend , all of them really ,HUMAN ?? I disagree Dave ,
These self serving planks need to be brought before a disciplinary board and read the riot act ! They cheat for their own benefit ? Totally unacceptable .
