Gold: Valencia is “electric”

Valencia3David Gold explained exactly what West Ham were getting during a recent exclusive conversation with ClaretandHugh.

He explained: “This guy is a truly exciting footballer – he has electric pace and will worry any defence in the Premier League.

“We expect him to have a real impact for us but because he has such tremendous pace don’t expect him to be running all over the pitch for 90 minutes.

“He conserves his pace and energy for those electric runs which are fully capable of changing games.”

Monday night will hopefully see the £12 million signing at full fitness and ready to rumble performing to the sort of expectancy levels which are clearly held throughout the club.

It could well be that we shall see him teamed up with Diafra Sakho and one insider said;: “It’s a big moment for Sam Allardyce.

“With the exception of Kevin Nolan, the manager’s  major worry is to decide which is his ‘first team’ in their absences.

This is the team we think we are likely to see: Adrian, Jenkinson, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell, Song, Downing, Noble, Kouyate Jarvis, Valencia (Sakho on bench of course)
