Gonzo on Ngakia contract: “I want to know the details”

ClaretandHugh‘s partner Gonzo has been following the Jeremy Ngakia story and fall-out from it after HE  and WE went out our our way to discover what was going on with the defender’s contract position.

The coverage has drawn an angry response from some fans who reckon the leaking and publication of contract details is bang out of order.

Fair enough that’s up to them but like CandH Gonzo readily admits in his latest video that he wants to know – as do many.

He explains he is far more concerned with the agent’s role in the unpleasant affair which at the moment will seemingly see the 19 year old leave the club.

And he makes it clear that he  he is more disgusted with the agent’s role in the business rather than the issues surrounding the boy’s contract.

All views are legit but as Gonzo points out he, as a guy who pays out a of money into the club every year, feels he has the right to know why a player doesn’t want to continue playing for us.

Give his latest video a watch. As ever, it’s well worth it.

  1. Surely if he feels the need to ‘know the details’ he’s not really in a position to hammer the agent without all the facts being available?

    • He does know because we found out and that’s why he’d hammered him. I’d have been better served making want wanted in the headline . If you watch the video through you will get it

  2. Hundreds of players have excelled at one club then failed at another – and we’re taking here about a 19 year old. For the agent of course it’s a risk worth taking. Ngakia is firm first choice at West ham and loved by the fans. But he’s played FOUR times for the first team (even if it was against top opposition). Someone needs to talk sense into him.

  3. I believe he has already burned his bridges, whether it’s his own fault or the fault of the agent is irrelevant. He now joins that merry band of Defoe, Ince, Payet, Oxford, Arnautovic. Good luck pal you’re gonna need it because West Ham fans will not forgive you.
