Good and bad news for Irons in Cup draws

West Ham got the good news almost immediately followed by he bad – or at least more difficult – when the FA Cup fourth and fifth round draws were made this evening.

Peter Crouch was the man responsible for pulling the balls out of the canister and did us – what on the face of it anyway – was a big favour for the fourth round.

Always assuming the Hammers get past Stockport County this evening they will have a visit from Doncaster Rovers to look forward to at the London Stadium.

It was a slightly different tale when the giant former striker pulled out the numbers for the fifth round and not only was an away trip on the agenda but the hardest possible.

Our number 14 ball found itself pulled out after the Manchester United/Livepool ball appeared – so we’re off – assuming all goes well – to eitherĀ  Old Trafford or Anfield.

So thanks and no thanks Crouchy

  1. Great draw. No one expects us to beat Liverpool or Man U away so nothing to lose really. If we get past them I fancy us to win the cup.

  2. So once again the FA cup is dumbed down.
Who thought it was a great idea to have two draws at the same time?
