Hammers injury updates

David Moyes is expected to have a fully fit squad when the Premier League re-starts after the Qatarstrophe.

Both Maxwel Cornet and Kurt Zouma were today described to ClaretandHugh as being almost certain to be ready giving the manager the opportunity to take what he considers his strongest squad to Arsenal. So no excuses then!

It could hardly be a tougher clash for the boys to be meeting the north London club currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

The summer signing suffered a suspected calf injury during the Hammers’ 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium whilst Zouma was subbed in the defeat by Leicester City.

He came off early in the first half after feeling uncomfortable in the warm-up but we were told this morning that he should certainly be fit after the break.

Our key London Stadium source: “We are pretty confident that both players will be available for the game.”
