Good news for West Ham at last

It’s good news for West Ham at last as Mohammad Kudus appeared for Ghana against Comoros this afternoon as a second half sub. After failing to train yesterday because of a back problem he is understood to have played for the entire second half in the 1-0 defeat which hit his nation’s World Cup qualifying hopes.

So, thankfully, it now seems that the player will be ready to take part from the start in the match at Burnley at the weekend with Ghana’s international break now at an end. He will now be on his way back to Rush Green in plenty of time to receive any medical treatment should he needs it. However, he looks very likely to be involved and will provide some power in a team set to be without Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen.

Against a team seriously struggling at the bottom of the table with just four points from their 12 games, and having conceded 30 goals this season, he and the likes of Lucas Paqueta and James Ward Prowse should be able to produce the creativity to carve out a result.

And as we keep mentioning let’s please hope that Divin Mubama gets an opportunity to impress in a game which could take the Hammers on to 20 points and above Brighton and Hove Albion who visit Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.

The ever cautious Moyes will start Ings if Kudus is chosen to fill in for Bowen on the right. Mubama will likely come off the bench if we’re a goal down after 55 minutes! If he does get his chance, he’ll need to hit the ground running and again in his second or third run out. The social media miseries will destroy his confidence if he doesn’t.
