Graham Potter finally gets some good news

And now for some good news… West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen is back training ‘on the grass’, it has been revealed today.

The Hammers’ media team released an image of Bowen sprinting with the caption ‘back on the grass’.

But before anybody gets overly concerned that Jarrod could find himself in hot water with a failed drugs test, I’m happy to reveal the caption refers to the Hammers’ frontman returning to train on turf.

It’s a massive boost for everyone connected with the club and, in particular, new West Ham manager Graham Potter, who has been forced to work with a threadbare squad.

Claret & Hugh were informed by a London Stadium source that Bowen could return for the Premier League match against Chelsea on Monday, 3rd February.

Bowen’s return would be a remarkable turnaround, considering he has been out with a broken bone in his foot. However, it’s a testament to his powers of recovery that he is back training at Rush Green.

It’s highly likely the winger will focus on regaining fitness by working on his own before joining his teammates for more competitive ball work

Steitden and Lopetegui made our bed.Potter has to lie in it with all the misfits and failures they created.Hopefully he will magic them back to life.

I hope Bowen and Summerville back doesn’t mean Dildo puts his cheque book back in his pocket for a striker and a midfielder that can run and dribble with a football!

Fantastic to see our captain back training on the grass ahead of schedule. The sooner he is back leading our team out the better. His positive influence both in the dressing room and pitch will be a massive boost for the manager and team especially with Summerville also due back.

This is actually terrible news if we want to get a striker in. With the promises of a Bowen return the coaching team will be persuaded that we can wait until summer for a forward.

Can’t see that mate. Potter wouldn’t have agreed to join unless he was given guarantees that he would be given a big say in bringing in players he needed and transfer budget to back him.

He’s just brought in the top data analyst from Chelsea that he worked with at his previous clubs and persuaded the board to pay £1.2 million compensation so he won’t be messed about.

Good news but you make it sound like we signed a player at last..😔
.what is happening other clubs are having no trouble……obviously not loads of prem moves ..but its happening
Are we close on anything at all ..?

I look forward to Bowen’s return. He is one of the few who should survive the necessary cull of starters.
