Grim Cornet summary

Hammer Maxwel Cornet has taken to social media to tell Hammers fans that the end of his recovery road is near.
However, medical experts aren’t so sure with one telling CandH that his calf injury is complicated and that he had only seen a condition like it once in 25 years.
Manager David Moyes has explained regularly that he has seen very little of the former Burnley star over recent months given he has been visiting British and European medical practices in search of an answer.
Cornet wrote on Instagram “the disappointment is big … disappointed not to be able to return the love you showed me when I joined the West Ham family… the road is long but the end is near! thank you all for your many messages, rehabilitation is going very well, see you soon. Happy New Year everyone!❤️ Maxi”
Some have taken that to mean he will soon return to action but we understand the medical experts still do not understand what the long-term solution is.
He has been receiving special injections in Paris from a specialist to loosen up his calf but an operation remains a very probable long-term outcome.
ClaretandHugh have been told that his current condition is so rare that the specialist has only seen it twice in twenty fives of practising medicine.

 1. Does anyone know what this ‘rare condition’ is actually called?
