Luis Guilherme has completed his West Ham medical ahead of his transfer from Palmeiras, according to Italian journalist and football ITK Fabrizio Romano.

Writing on his X (Twitter) page, Romano stated that he expects Guilherme to sign his Hammers contract tomorrow.

“Luis Guilherme to West Ham, exclusive story confirmed and here we go!

Medical completed today, contract to be signed on Wednesday.

€23m fee plus €7m add-ons and 20% sell-on clause to Palmeiras, deal sealed by director Tim Steidten.

Contract until June 2029 + option.”

Guilherme to West Ham transfer will be completed tomorrow.

Romano is thought to have a good relationship with West Ham’s director of football, Tim Steidten, and has been at the forefront of transfer updates on this story. It is understood that Steidten has remained in Brazil to conclude at least one more transfer before returning to the UK.

Guilherme’s five-year contract is likely to include a two-year option which can be activated by the club.

Spot on Razor, Moyes s defensive style of football totally brought our season to an end prematurely. Hopefully the new coach will play a more positive attacking kind of football and play players in the positions that they are more adept to.

Not a glowing assessment of this very expensive signing, by South American expert Tim Vickery. He says it’s a huge risk for promise without substance.
Let’s hope he’s wrong, although he rarely is. I was hoping for a more positive report.
Let’s wait and see before we all write him off.

We should be viewing this as positive – investing in youth. He’s one of the top rated Brazilian youngsters. We are now investing in the future and not just blowing money on players a manager hopes will keep him in a job for the nest few months,

Spot on Simon. Moyes was a cancer in our club. Didn’t listen to people way more knowledge as he was a narcistic person . Thank goodness his gone at last and seeing nobody coming in for him says it all. Only his brown nosing people on talk****e thinking his good enough for little old west ham . Onwards with now top scouts and a director that is now listened too and action allowed to happen.
