The transfer of Palmeiras winger Luis Guilherme to West Ham has moved a step closer with numerous reports that he is soon to fly to the UK for a medical. Some media outlets are even suggesting that the Brazilian wonderkid could arrive in the country as early as this weekend.
West Ham are belied have a verbal agreement in place with Palmeiras for the signature of Guilherme as well as the player himself according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Hammers have been in talks with the Brazilian outfit for the signature of the 18-year-old winger for the past two weeks. Irons director of football Tim Steidten has been working incredibly hard to conclude the deal and agent Barry Silkman has also flown out to conclude the negotiations.
This mirrors the role Silky played in helping the club sign Lucas Paqueta when the player appeared on the cusp of moving to Arsenal.
