Brighton’s manager Fabian Hurzeler has given a kick in the wotsits to any West Ham hopes of signing Evan Ferguson in the upcoming transfer window.
I have to admit, this particular deal was one of the few that got me seriously excited. Ferguson has been an absolute handful each time I’ve seen him play, and I suspect he’d be perfect for Julen Lopetegui.
Therefore, when rumours began to emerge that West Ham would be looking to make a move for the out-of-favour Seagulls star, I was delighted. However, the Brighton & Hove Albion gaffer has killed off speculation that the big forward will be moving away from the South Coast any time soon.
“I don’t know where this information comes from because I said to Evan that I am happy he is here with the team,” Hurzeler said. “I am happy with how he is training, what shape he is in physically, mentally. Of course, he is a young player and needs game time.”
On Wednesday, Claret & Hugh exclusively revealed that the Hammers’ German striker Niclas Füllkrug was close to returning to West Ham action. However, our top source at the London Stadium hinted that if he doesn’t recover or chooses to return to Germany, the club could look to bring in another forward.
Unfortunately, for now, it doesn’t look like that forward will be Brighton’s Ferguson
Again see Ali Alana’s plays in Ipswich , he is cheap and lethal
The triumph of hope over experience
Another injury prone non scoring striker who if we signed or borrowed him we wouldn’t make chances for.
That’s why it makes sense not to believe transfer gossip, top sources or 99% of the fake news online.
