If DS buys another Summerville, Mendes comes up with some good players, agents bring in youngsters, Max does his thing, new person in charge of player contracts, possibly of a recruitment budget too – I am supposing this might be part of a new look WHU under joint chairmanship – sounds kind of promising to me.
Would rather see a head of finance, player contract and recruitment budgeting than a DOF, when have so many involved with recruitment already. I know nothing about all this nor what to expect from a DOF, but I read Chelsea actually have 5 of them and really there are enough executives around football already.
Look at all the poor managerial appointments at Spurs, Leicester, WHU, Chelsea,… to hire and fire this way, means you do not know a great deal.
